| Friends of Frederick Sommer's would often come across a book, while looking through library sales or used bookstores, and see a quality in the reproductions that made them think of Fred. The mushroom illustrations that make up this collage came from a battered volume on botany, sent to Sommer by Jonathan Clark of Artichoke Editions in Mountain View, CA. |
