For the rest of his life, Frederick Sommer explored drawing in the style and tradition of musical scores. Using pen and ink, glue color or pencil on various papers, he created an amazing variety of musical score drawings. He also made a few scores like this one, by drawing with Sodium Thiosulphate (fixer, simply hypo) on photographic paper and then developing.
